I am a French lifestyle photographer who recently moved from France to Australia with my Australian husband and our three kids. My love for the lens began with an education in the technical side of the cinema industry.

Living in the South West of France, embedded in nature where the forest and the beach adjoined, gave me the perfect setting for shooting my favourite models (my children).

Natural lighting and an emphasis on creating a timeless feeling are the focus of my shots. I love to capture the mood with my black-and-white processing, searching for new depths in the absence of color.

My style is often described as one that “skirts the lines between documentary and fine art.”

My art is a visual expression or a timestamp on the journey of my life. I do it for two different reasons: firstly, I want to create a memory of this moment and secondly, I want my photos to spark a dream for the interpreter. It’s about trying to capture moments of normality inside a crazy life.

It’s true to say I have my dark days, and often this is seen, if you know me, in my work. With the passing of time, using this beautiful planet as a backdrop, I hope to continue to immortalise moments.

My current project “Bloom Serie” is about my daughter – she is 8 and half years old and she is in between stages: child and pre-teenager.

My last project was about childhood, freedom and flowers on a Polynesian Island. This project was in the 200 finalists at Critical Mass at Photonola.

My wish for the future is to be able to capture memories for others, to continue to find inspiration in my surroundings and be able to make a living with my photography.

My gear:

The Leica M with a 50mm f/1.4 Summilux Aspherical is my go-to for travelling and for my personal projects. I like it as it’s manual focus and I really enjoy the texture and the feeling of the pictures. It’s really close to a film camera. If I can afford it, I will have all my gear with Leica.

For personal projects I also use my Nikon 45mm f/2.8 tilt shift. I bought an adaptor so I can still use it on my Sony.

For fun, I use my Nikon F65 with an old 50mm f/1.8 and my Instax mini 8.

My next purchase will be equipment to start to make pictures with the wet plate collodion technique that I learnt a few months ago at a workshop.

For business purposes I have a Sony a7R III and my go to lens on it is the Sony FE 35mm f/1.4. It’s sharp and quick, so perfect for family photography (examples) with younger children. I also have housing from SPL Water Housings made for my Sony a7R III with a Sony FE 24mm f1/4. It’s perfect for the pools and ocean which we love so much.
